Georgina is an energy consultant, providing advisory services for a variety of clients operating across the global energy, infrastructure and wider heavy industry sectors, including corporates, governmental bodies, academic institutions and multilateral organisations. Her particular area of interest centres on the low carbon economy and the risks and opportunities facing companies operating in an increasingly digitalised, decentralised and decarbonised energy market. Georgina became co-founder and director of North Shore Analysis in 2019.
Prior to this, Georgina worked at Fitch Solutions for seven years, rising from Junior Renewable Energy Analyst to Head of Power & Renewables Research. She has travelled extensively with her work and has presented at numerous conferences around the world, including in China, South East Asia and Southern Africa.
She holds a MA with Distinction from King’s College London in 'Geopolitics, Territory and Security'.
John became co-founder and director of North Shore Analysis in 2019, building on ten years of analytical and consulting experience across the public and private sectors.
During his eight years at Fitch Solutions (formerly BMI Research), he held various positions including on the Global Strategy Team, where he focussed on global macroeconomics and emerging market industries. John also spent five years heading up the company’s global commodities research, where he oversaw agribusiness, energy and mining industry analysis and price forecasting. In so doing, John regularly travelled internationally including to Singapore and South Africa, meeting clients and undertaking numerous conference and media appearances.
Prior to Fitch Solutions, he spent a year at the UK Treasury where he analysed trends in the UK economy, and has experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers. John holds a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath and a MSc with Distinction in Economic History from the London School of Economics.
